Existing Chassis and Compliance Deadline
We also want to provide a reasonable transition period for existing chassis that are currently in use and may not meet the new requirements.
Any existing chassis that is not currently in compliance with the 2027 requirements must be brought into compliance by June 8, 2027.
Effective June 9, 2027, any chassis that does not comply with the 2027 requirements will not be permitted to enter competition.
This transition period is intended to give teams and chassis manufacturers adequate time to make any necessary changes without requiring them to immediately replace or substantially rebuild an existing chassis.
